Alex Flynn has sadly passed away…

With broken hearts, we must announce the passing of a great man. Alex Flynn, Dad, Soulmate, Brother, Friend, Adventure, Runner and all round nutter finally crossed his last finish line.

He went out exactly how he would have wanted to, off the high of having completed another adventure on top of the world about to step into a helicopter ready to take on the next challenge.

If you would like to raise a glass; it’s a whiskey and if you would like to make a donation. The family would like you to donate to the local charity based in Wantage where Alex lived: Parkinsons.me

Please continue to follow Alex’s social channels as we will be pushing forwards with the mission he started in raising awareness of the disease and the search for a cure!

Adventurer

Alex’s wish to run, walk and anything else (including crawl) to cover the equivalent distance of 10 million meters (6,214 miles) was achieved by January 2014. However, more is yet to come and Alex will keep moving to raise more than £1 million for Parkinson’s research.

Speaker

All it took was a cup of coffee to change Alex’s life forever and set in motion the indomitable will and desire that lead him to realise and write his astonishing adventure that Sir Ranulph Fiennes OBE has described as “seriously hard”.

Book Alex now to speak at your event!!

Sir Ranulph Fiennes OBE

RARELY DOES ONE HEAR ABOUT SUCH AN INSPIRATIONAL AND HEROIC BRITON AS ALEX FLYNN. THE CHALLENGES HE HAS SUCCESSFULLY UNDERTAKEN WOULD BE CONSIDERED SERIOUSLY HARD BY ANYONE’S STANDARDS AND ARE, IN MY VIEW, INDEPENDENTLY WORTHY OF RECOGNITION.

Media

I have and will continue to face some of the toughest challenges on the planet while battling Parkinson’s every second of every day! It’s about making people aware… for without awareness, change will never happen.

To date the media have taken my story around the world, for which I am truly grateful. For more media, click here
