In 2011 I became a professional sportsman and sponsored athlete while undertaking the Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon in the UAE. Dubai holds a special place for me for its where I passed my first 1 million metres and its where I finished my 10 million metres challenge.
In 2012, only 6 weeks after traversing over 3,200 miles across America, I had the opportunity of flying to Shanghai to run the Toray Shanghai International Marathon. Despite having a heart infection I completed the Marathon in less than 5 hours.
April 2018, I flew halfway around the world to Fiji to take part in the Lost Island Ultra. The island, having experienced a cyclone just days before the start of the race, meant that the course would have to be shortened. Even with the changes, the race was no less brutal. The unbelievable heat, humidity and heatstroke didn’t stop me from competing.
I am looking forward to further adventures that will allow me to explore more of this amazing planet we live on.
